Frequently Asked Questions

What is Club '64?

Club ‘64 is similar to a traditional wine club offered by local wineries. Rather than feature wine from a single producer, Club ‘64 features wine from two different wineries per quarter. That’s 8 wineries per year! The goal is to introduce club members to new wines and incentivize them to get to know these wineries through events, wine tours, and benefits like complimentary wine tastings.

How does it work?

There are no fees to sign up. Like most wine clubs, the commitment is 4 quarters of wine purchases that range from 4 bottles (about $120/qtr) to 6 bottles ($200/qtr). All wine is offered at a 10% discount from the retail price. Following the 4th consecutive release, Club ‘64 participants can cancel at any time.

Each quarter, Club ‘64 participants will be presented with a Release, which is the selection of wines for that quarter. This selection includes a mix of Red, White and Sparkling wines, usually paired with themes of the season. They are meant to be enjoyed and shared during that quarter. Participants will then be given an opportunity, through a simple online form, to customize the release according to their preferences (for example swap Chardonnay for Pinot Noir), while maintaining the bottle level they signed up for.

Choose between two levels that are inspired by the year ‘64:

6 bottle release (3 bottles per winery), estimated $225-300 per quarter

4 bottle release (2 bottles per winery), estimated $120-200 per quarter

Do I have to buy wine to participate?

While Club ‘64 participants are committed to the purchase of wine quarterly, all events can be enjoyed by any member of Michelbook. Events may have a cost associated with them that is usually offered at a discounted rate for Club ‘64 participants.

Can I buy more wine?

We have created a Bottle Shop for Michelbook members to enjoy. It will include an assortment of local wines including the ones from each release. Club ’64 members will receive 10% off all bottle purchases.

Can I customize my shipment or add extra bottles?

Club ’64 participants will then be given an opportunity, through a simple online form, to customize the release according to their preferences (for example swap Chardonnay for Pinot Noir), while maintaining the bottle level they signed up for (6 or 4).

What if I want to cancel?

Membership is an annual commitment, after which you can cancel at anytime by emailing support@nwwineshuttle.com. If you would like to cancel prior, you may be asked to pay a fee for early cancellation.

How do I receive wine purchases?

All wine purchases will be delivered to Michelbook Country Club under your club number. If you would like wine shipped, please ensure you mark that on your release. We can only ship to Oregon addresses.

Who is responsible for Club '64?

Michelbook has brought on Kim Myers, founder of NW Wine Shuttle and NW Wine Club to design and manage Club ‘64 in collaboration with Michelbook leadership.
