Fall 2023 RELEASE DESCRIPTION & TASTING NOTES

This Fall release is a celebration of families finding and following their passions. For the founders of Jachter Wines and Sealionne Wines, their winemaking visions came about while pursuing other passions.

Now you’ll find both families pouring their hearts into the land to create beautiful wines that are meant to be shared. 

Sealionne’s vineyard is rooted on a beautiful Ribbon Ridge Estate property in Newberg, Oregon. Founder and Winemaker, Piper Underbrink, believes this is a place for exploration. It’s a place to make wines that embody the freedom we experience while adventuring and traveling with those we love. Just how the brand came about while cruising in a 1920-30s classic wooden SeaLyon boat, while enjoying wine with family.

Dave Jachter built a career and a reputation from his successful dealerships and tagline “And That’s No Bull.” He spent many years cultivating a love for wine. Now you’ll find him and his family caring for a 120 acre vineyard and winery in the Chehalem Mountains. Dave’s belief is that the most beautiful wines are those that can be savored by all, transcending boundaries and creating lasting memories. 

As we enter into the holiday season, I wish for you to find passion in unexpected places, and to enjoy wine that makes you feel at home no matter where you are.

Tasting 1 – Jachter Wines, Chehalem Mountains (complimentary flights for two)

This stunning tasting room delights with expansive vineyard and valley views.  

Lunch – Earth & Sea

Designed in the old Carlton fire station, this restaurant is beautiful and focuses on locally sourced and sustainable food. 

Tasting 2 – Sealionne Wines, Located at Prive Vineyard in Newberg, OR (complimentary flights for two)

This small tasting room is located on the personal estate of the winemaker. It’s style will make you feel like you are in a European cottage.
